I am a 26-year-old professional, that currently lives and work in Dublin, Ireland for a big American Tech Corp. As you could imagine from my first name, I am not a native English speaker, indeed my first language is Italian.

It was apparently a normal morning during Christmas Holiday. The night before I was clubbing like many other nights.
I woke up and noticed a strange but familiar noise. I did not pay too much attention to it. I proceeded normally my day as well as any other day.
Same day, time to sleep. That noise showed up again, I looked for some source of sound such as television, AC, radio, mobile but I didn’t find anything, I fall asleep.
Many of us experienced to leave their native city towards a new and unknown city for different reasons. From various reasons, you can land in a new location with a little few or even no acquaintances.
That happened to me various times, exactly 6 times to date, but I always got to be surrounded by like-minded people and develop great friendships in different cities in a short amount of time.
In the best scenario, you can meet people in your workplace, university, campus or flatmates, I can assure that is not always the case.
